Terms and Distance Contract
These terms determine the procedure for purchasing goods in the online store www.marbona.lv (hereinafter referred to as Marbona), managed by:

Buyer:
A natural or legal person who purchases goods in the online store Marbona.
By making a purchase in this online store, a Distance contract is concluded between the Buyer and the Seller, which complies with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet of Ministers regulations No. 255.
1. Goods and Prices
1.1. All prices for goods are indicated in euros (EUR), including VAT.
1.2. The Seller reserves the right to change the prices of goods, but this does not affect already confirmed orders.
2. Order Placement and Payment
2.1. Orders are placed on this website by specifying the type and quantity of goods to be ordered and filling out the order form.
2.2. When placing an order, the Buyer gets acquainted with the product description and its usage and storage conditions.
2.3. Payment is made using the payment tools integrated in the online store or by paying the Seller's invoice prepared and sent to the Buyer to the e-mail address provided by them, or by other specified payment methods.
2.4. The order is considered confirmed after receipt of payment.
2.5. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.
2.6. The Buyer is responsible for submitting correct information - delivery address, e-mail, phone number.
3. Delivery and Receipt
3.1. Delivery of goods starts only after full payment is received, unless otherwise agreed.
3.2. Delivery is provided within the territory of the Republic of Latvia and to other EU countries, if specified at the time of order.
3.3. Delivery time usually takes 2–7 working days, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
3.4. Delivery costs and delivery time are indicated before order confirmation.
3.5. If the product is not available, the Seller informs the Buyer and refunds the money within 5 working days.
3.6. Goods are packaged and labeled in accordance with current food circulation regulations, including expiration date and storage instructions.
3.7. Upon receiving the product, the Buyer must check its condition. In case of damage, contact the Seller within 2 working days.
4. Right of Withdrawal
4.1. According to Cabinet Regulation No. 255, point 22, the right of withdrawal does not apply to food products if:
· they can quickly spoil or damage may occur due to improper storage,
· they are delivered in sealed packaging, and the packaging is opened after receipt,
· food safety, hygiene, or quality is endangered.
4.2. Goods with a long shelf life can be returned only if they have not been opened, are in original packaging, are not damaged, and the expiration date has not passed.
4.3. The Buyer is responsible for proper storage of goods after receipt.
5. Product Quality and Guarantees
5.1. All goods are stored, labeled, and delivered in accordance with Latvian food circulation regulations.
5.2. The product description indicates the composition, storage conditions, country of origin, and expiration date.
5.3. Product descriptions in the online store are based on the manufacturer's description and information and may change depending on changes made by the manufacturer.
5.3. Photos posted in the online store may differ slightly from the actual appearance of the product, especially regarding cured Iberian ham.
5.3. If the product is damaged, the Buyer has the right to its replacement or a refund of the paid amount.
6. Processing of Personal Data
6.1. The Buyer's personal data is processed only for order processing and fulfillment, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
6.2. Data is not disclosed to third parties, except in cases necessary for delivery or payment processing.
6.3 By entering information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the Buyer's order processing will be sent to the specified e-mail.

7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
7.1. Complaints can be submitted by writing to the e-mail: [email protected]
7.2. Complaints are reviewed within 5 working days.
7.3. Disputes are resolved through negotiations, but if no agreement is reached, the Buyer has the right to contact the Consumer Rights Protection Center (PTAC), or to go to court in accordance with Latvian regulatory acts.
8. Entry into Force and Storage of the Distance Contract
8.1. The contract enters into force when the Buyer has placed an order and received confirmation by e-mail.
8.2. The content of the contract is stored electronically and, upon request, is sent to the Buyer to their specified e-mail address.
