These olives come from the Kalamata region in Greece, and are characterized by a dark purple color, almond-like shape and fleshy texture. They have an intense, fruity flavor with a slightly sweet note, which makes them an important ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine.
Kalamata olives are harvested by hand at the optimal ripeness stage to ensure the highest quality. After that, they are subjected to a lactic acid fermentation process and marinated in a special spice blend containing garlic, paprika, thyme.
Ideal for salads, appetizers or as an addition to various dishes.
