The word "coupage" refers to the process of blending two or more wines of different strengths to enhance or improve their properties. Applying this principle to olive oil has resulted in an organic "coupage" oil – a refined blend with a balanced flavor and high quality. The organic coupage olive oil combines the sweetness and freshness of the Hojiblanca olive variety with the bitterness and pungency characteristic of the Picual variety. This harmonious combination creates a multi-layered bouquet of flavors with pronounced taste and aroma nuances – green almond, artichoke, freshly cut grass, and green olive leaf notes.
The result is a perfectly balanced oil distinguished by its pungency, greenness, and fruitiness.
Thanks to the high content of polyphenols, antioxidants, and oleic acid characteristic of the Hojiblanca and Picual varieties, this oil is especially recommended for salads and pesto sauces or to be enjoyed together with Iberian ham sandwiches.
